I'm not one to wear chambray to the office.

Maybe it's just me, but I usually feel a bit too casual. Damn you relax boyfriend styles! Now on the weekend, I'm all about some chambray -- but I've been making more of an effort lately to shop for items that work for the office and the weekend. This top is a perfect example. I've been wearing it non-stop since picking it up on March {it's funny how some items ended up on the blog immediately and others unintentionally slip through the cracks}. It worked for UK watch parties, dinner with friends, and now is on heavy rotation at the office.

It's pretty much the perfect denim-meets-office-appropriate top. The structure and darker shade of blue work a bit better for my office environment. Maybe that's just a me thing. Either way, I've been wearing it on repeat and have no plans to slow down.

It doesn't get more work wear than wrinkles from sitting at your desk all day.

I shared this look on instagram last week and a lot of you asked about this dress. Wrinkles aside, this Gap number is pretty fantastic. The cut is exactly what I look for in a dress and the color will transition perfectly into fall {I'm already imagining different blazer and boot combinations}. But for this first go around, I kept things simple. I love the simple neckline so I opted for a belt rather than my go to necklace or scarf.

But my favorite accessory has to be my new ruby red sunglasses from Frameri {check out my post on the showroom here}. It may be a little matchy-matchy for some, but I'm loving the red on red. Typically I gravitate towards tortoise frames, but this ruby color is filling a major color void in my collection. And if I ever get tired of the red {not likely to happen...}, no worry. I can just pop out my lens and snap them into any other frame in the Tidal collection. Yep, it's that easy.

Local Cincinnati: Frameri #MadeToChange

Frameri d

If you haven't been introduced, I'm excited to share Frameri with you today.

Frameri is a Cincinnati based company, doing absolutely amazing things in the world of eyewear! You may have seen the company on Shark Tank. Or if you're local, maybe if you've stopped into their new showroom on Race Street.

Frameri a

The concept is simple {and pretty genius} -- it's the freedom to change your glasses as often as you change your clothes or shoes. As an accessory lover, this functional mantra speaks to my style soul. I'm always on the look out for simple, creative ways to change my look and swapping frames in a snap is perfect for me.

After trying on each of the collections, I settled on the Magellan frame from the Tidal Collection. Once I had the frame shape decided, it was time to narrow down the color scheme for the frame and lens. Choosing the frame wasn't all too difficult since I tend to gravitate towards certain styles, but the color decision? It was by far the toughest choice for me. Initially I eyed the cheetah {hello animal print obsession} frame, but my sister encouraged me buck my instinct for neutrals. Per usual, she was right on and I opted for a beautiful ruby frame and stuck with the red theme by pairing it with the sunset gradient lens.

The folks at Frameri were so helpful and knowledgeable that it made the entire process all the more fun. But one thing I wasn't expecting was for the frame and lens to be customized in less than 15 minutes. Granted these aren't prescription lens, but still I was SUPER impressed with the both the premium quality and stealth like turn-around time.

If you're looking for a new pair of frames {sunglasses or optical} I highly suggest checking out Frameri. And if you're a local, definitely check out the showroom.

My sister has taken to referring to this look as my Jen Aniston, Rachel Green outfit.

If you're a fan of Friends, you know that Rachel wore lots of great army green outfits. Sure her haircuts took center stage (if you grew up in the 90s it was a right of passage to rock the long layer Rachel cut), but let me tell you her outfits were (and most still are) on point.

On a non-Friends note. I'm expecting this outfit to get a lot of mileage headed into Fall. Yes, Fall! It's never too early to talk Fall, right? I plan on wearing this to work on Fridays. Plus I think it's super cute for a weekend around town. That Rachel Green knew what she was doing.

Local Cincinnati: LIBBY Lookbook

A few weeks back a group of Thread Cincinnati gals and I spent the afternoon shooting a lookbook for LIBBY. Who doesn't like to play dress up and frolic around OTR? But more importantly it was good excuse to help support a local business and hang out with these ladies!

If you live in Cincinnati, be sure to check out the LIBBY B&M Store on Main Street in Over the Rhine. Or check the store out on Instagram.

I don't know about you, but this dress called to my inner Grecian Godness. And when I say called, I mean she said "Liz buy, Liz love me, LIZ"! What I'm basically trying to say is that I might be mildly crazy and that clothes to speak to me. But besides that small issue I'm fine. Really, I am fine....

Either way, I snagged this dress and decided that I'd find an excuse to wear later. At home lounging (it feels like pajamas), maybe a wedding (hey, someone get married! Oh wait, all my friends are already...), or a date blate (that's a blogger date, cause let's be honest I don't do real dates).

And aren't you proud I managed this entire post without an "orange you glad" comment.
Oh wait...

Easy, breezy, boho -- that's a saying, right? If not, I am locking down the copyright now! This top has been on repeat most of the summer (see Monday's post about living layer free). If I had a pair of white denim, I'd most certainly be rocking that outfit rendition as well. But unfortunately, white denim is my fashion unicorn. Maybe someday I'll track down a pair, but until then it's black denim.

It shouldn't surprise you, but man summer is HOT! It took a while for the heat way to hit Ohio, but July has been pretty brutal {don't even get me started on the humidity}. If I don't talk about it, it won't be as bad, right? Sadly that means layers have been put on permanent hold. In the meantime, I've been gravitating towards the same 3 or 4 easy breezy tops.

If it isn't broke...
